Woods Villa Tui is a sleek, contemporary villa set high above Lake Whakatipu between Queenstown and Frankton, with lake and mountain views from its big windows. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms sleep six, and it's a short drive from the centre of Queenstown.

The open-plan living area flows out to a balcony with a BBQ, and the kitchen comes with a Nespresso machine for the pre-ride coffee. Central and underfloor heating keep it comfortable all year, and the master ensuite has a spa bath for soaking tired legs.

There's a private garage with storage for your mountain bikes, plus a drying room for wet kit. Woods Villa Kea is right next door if you're bringing a bigger crew. The villa is up a steep hill, so you'll want a car, and there's building work nearby that can be noisy from 7am.
